The course goes through the topics of creating a new App in Genus Web. An app consists of an app bar, a navigation menu, and a set of app pages. Styling is defined in a theme that can be reused on multiple apps to create a uniform and recognizable look and feel for your business apps.
The app bar is used for branding, app title, navigation, search, and built-in app actions.
The navigation menu is a hierarchical structure of actionable items describing a destination using a text label and an optional icon. The destination can be any app page defined in your app model.
An app page presents data in various highly customizable formats, using a range of built-in controls and components defined in your app model. Controls and components are placed in a responsive layout grid that adapts to screen size and orientation.
A web theme is used to simplify the design of user interfaces. A web theme specifies a set of colors to be used for various constructs in the user interface.
